Cancer Care at Sturdy Memorial Hospital

Proudly Serving Attleboro and Foxboro, MA, and Surrounding Communities

Sturdy Memorial Hospital has a comprehensive Cancer Care Program that can coordinate and provide care for all but the most uncommon cancers. Our Cancer Care Program is approved by the American College of Surgeons and was most recently surveyed in 2014. The Program has maintained the distinction of accreditation for over 20 years based on the Hospitalís ability to meet more than 30 required quality standards, signifying that our high quality standard of cancer care is always maintained.

Patients here get the same oncology treatment options and protocols they would find in a major cancer center, including national clinical trials, chemotherapy, infusion therapy, surgery, state-of-the-art radiation therapy, and oncology rehabilitation. These protocols are prescribed to meet patientsí individual needs. Our dedicated oncology team is made up of highly trained and experienced physicians and nurses who are among the leaders in their field.

Sturdyís high standards of care are maintained through four major components: Cancer Committee, Tumor Conference, Tumor Registry, and a Continuous Quality Improvement Program. Click here to read more.
